This game has recall written all over it. They are releasing patches that only work for some systems but not others. Fallout continues to pay dividends for Bethesda, most recently with the controversial release of Fallout 76.Hardcore fans still look back fondly on one installment of the franchise that seems to stand head and shoulders above the rest: Fallout: New Vegas.Though it was released over a decade ago, its still the pinnacle by which other installments are measured. So something severely fishy is going on here. The old acceleration fix didn't work for me pre 2nd patch. By forcing it through software in the game, you are complicating their process and preventing the rest of us from being able to play properly.Īdam Baumgartner Posts: 3344 Joined: Wed 12:12 pm Anybody who actually wants or uses acceleration sets that up outside of the game in their mouse or controller software, its a preference that these people go out of there way to ensure works for them. Nobody on a PC wants your in-game acceleration for a precision mouse, all it does is get in the way. The old acceleration fix no longer works and the game is unplayable because of the awful stuff happening to the cursor in menus.

Just got the latest patch on steam and tried the game out. Go to your Fallout_default.ini file in your steam new vegas folder, and put A fix has been found, you must manually disable vsync (forced on by default now) and you must also copy the acceleration disabling settings to the default ini file in the main directory.
